Suzanne Jackson is an extraordinary painter, and she is also a dancer and poet. Perhaps that’s why her images seem to float on the canvas like notes in the air. Her works, as light and transparent as veils of water or as solid as sculptures, are painted poems that seem to take visitors on a journey of discovery of themselves as well as the reality around them. After observing the works on display and exploring the English garden at the Villa Reale, we shall try to respond to their sensory stimuli with a creative workshop where the evocations gathered become words, shapes, and colors, and which with the use of watercolor we shall combine so as to put together our own visual poems.
